DOES GETTING PAINT IN YOUR EYE FRUSTRATE YOU?

It's an easy yes or no answer!

But if you answered, "no" your not a spray-man or you're a blind spray-man!
I just read a painter's I hate list on paint talk,
"I hate when I get paint in my eye .... ''un paintoro in me ojo''
"I hate when I drop a screw for a plate and I never see it again"
"I hate noticing every other painters mistakes 24 hrs a day 7 days a week" 

It's not a good idea to spray without any eye protection.  You should use eye protection to keep paint out of your eyes.  Any spray-man's eyes will become irritated, started to sting, and became very red if they are unprotected.  Through-out my career I've used safety glasses, however, I would eventually have to stop working and clean off the paint to see what I was doing.

Spray-Painted Raccoon Eyes - OR - Protective Slitted Eyewear By ProBlocker

Spray-Painted Raccoon Eyes  - or -  Protective Slitted Eyewear ProBlocker, maker of protective slit eyewear, has introduced Ninja goggles to shield painters from overspray. The patent-pending goggles "use air itself to create a barrier where paint cannot accumulate and that resists paint particles from entering the eyewear," according to the Hawaii-based manufacturer.

Ninja goggles "guard the eyes and allow vision without requiring cleaning or adjustment so that painters can continue working without interruption," ProBlocker says.

The goggles were developed by company president Kendall Kikuyama, who reports more than 45 years of experience in the painting industry. Kikuyama "became concerned about eye health and safety after seeing too many workers with spray-painted 'raccoon' eyes after finishing spray jobs," the company said.

“I constantly see and hear about painters who forgo eyewear when spraying because they find it too inconvenient,” said Kikuyama.

How do the Slitted Ninja goggles work?

The Ninja spray goggles consist of a plastic frame with an open viewing slit in the center of each lens.
